July 16 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
Despite the unfortunate circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, Sangre de Cristo Community Care remains committed to providing necessary grief and loss resources to those in need across our community, including our annual Kids Camp. In accordance with state health guidelines and public space limitations, this year’s Kids Camp will have limited space and require each participant to comply with necessary precautionary measures. We will provide masks for each participant, limit groups to no more than ten children in any space at a given time, and regularly monitor temperatures and check for potential symptoms throughout the event.
We are honored to help children learn about grief through fun activities during our FREE two-day kids camp for children ages 6-11 at the Steelworks Center of the West. Kids Camp brings certified grief counselors, event volunteers, and facility staff together to help children work through the feelings associated with the loss of a loved one.
