Chief Operating Officer
Wendi Dammann is an innovative, results-driven strategic health care executive with proven ability to expand the reach of an organization’s brand by fueling connected communities through development and operational success. She joined Sangre de Cristo Community Care in 2017 and is deeply engaged in work in advanced illness and hospice care development and modernization with particular emphasis on integrating community-based providers into overall health system delivery transformation.
Guided by the strategic objectives of the organizations, she provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. She is responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations, education, admissions, bereavement and volunteer services. She brings nearly 20 years of progressively responsible senior health care leadership experience in strategy, marketing, innovation, physician relations, community partnerships and business development across the entire care continuum, serving in leadership roles most recently at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center, Centura Health and Penrose-St. Francis Medical Center. She is a graduate of CSU-Pueblo and holds a B.S. in Mass Communications.
